BESPOKE FIGMA ANIMATIONS + CSS CODE + ANIMATIONS

A competitive socialising venue serving incredible cocktails, food AND karaoke in St Pauls, London - with bags of personality — and their website needed to match it.

This was a real craft build: custom animation designed in Figma brings the brand to life on screen, backed by a serious amount of bespoke CSS that pushes the design far beyond what Squarespace does out of the box.

Their DesignMyNight reservations widget sits right inside the site, so booking a table takes seconds rather than a phone call. The result? A website with as much character as the venue itself.

    SQUARESPACE SHOP + BOOKINGS SYSTEM

Community Playhouse came to me as Key2 Community Club, ready for a fresh start.

We began with the identity itself: a new name deserved a new look, and I steered them towards a clean wordmark logo — flexible, legible and ageless.

The brief for the site was refreshingly simple: fun, playful and easy to book.

Using the gorgeous Squarespace ‘Little Legends’ template to its absolute fullest kept the build quick and the budget kind, without ever looking off-the-shelf. The result is a bright, welcoming site where finding and booking a session takes moments.

  • GAPS

PAID FOR INTEGRATIONS + BESPOKE IMAGES

I led a full-scale strategic rebuild for GAPS, transforming a fragmented legacy site into a high-credibility, modern resource hub.

GAPS is a 17 strong network of development, human rights, humanitarian, and peace-building INGOs, based in the UK, including Amnesty International, Oxfam, UN Women and Peace Direct.

By solving navigation friction and streamlining a complex library of policy outputs, I created an intuitive user journey that makes GAPS vital work instantly discoverable. The final result balances a clean, accessible aesthetic with a custom CMS and integrated analytics, empowering the GAPS team to manage their digital presence with total confidence and professional polish.

I also provide a suite of beautifully designed digital illustrations to highlight their services and create visual cohesion.

    MIGRATION Converting WordPress to Squarespace

HIGHLIGHTS Turning their nearly 400 post long Resource Library into a searchable, readable, SEO rich online resource using Squarewebsites Universal Filter.

  • WPS Helpdesk (Saferworld)

After rebuilding the GAPS website, Saferworld asked me back to refresh its sister site, WPS — home to a substantial library of Women, Peace and Security resources that had outgrown its structure.

This was an information architecture job at heart: I overhauled the taxonomy behind the library, rethinking how publications, toolkits and policy outputs are categorised so researchers, members and civil society partners can surface the right document in seconds rather than scrolling in hope.

Wee Movers is an east London based dance and movement company for children and adults. Their previous website conversion rates were worryingly low and after doing some research and getting feedback from users discovered the UX design wasn’t working for their customers.

Based on the feedback they provided for their old site, we worked together to solve the issues customers were experiencing. I redesigned and tested tirelessly - good to hear the conversion rates have leapt up! They now have a smoother bookings system and a cleaner and crisper look and feel to the website to reflect the very strong brand identity they already had in place.

WORDPRESS TO SQUARESPACE MIGRATION + CSS CODE

A parent led cooperative nursery whose ageing WordPress site had become a chore — hard to update, weighed down by years of old images, and underperforming on Google.

I exported and rebuilt the whole Wordpress site in Squarespace and strengthened their SEO, and the team now confidently manage every update themselves.

Families can book a free spot through an embedded Calendly widget to their gorgeous free Friday Music + Play sessions.

My favourite part — a custom fee calculator gives families an instant, transparent answer to "so what would it cost for us?" It worked so well I'm now rolling it out to other nurseries.

  • Places + Spaces Gardens

    SQUARESPACE TEMPLATE + QUICK BUILD

Not every business needs a big website — and Places + Spaces Gardens is proof. Tarquin wanted a simple digital home: somewhere to send people that captures what he does without saying too much.

He arrived with stunning photography, minimal copy and a moodboard of great album covers — a designer's dream brief. So the photography does the talking: a small, beautifully pared-back site where every image sits like cover art and nothing competes for attention.

Proof that when the work is this good, a website's job is simply to frame it.

Susie & Adam Tsui-Lucas are inspirational early years teachers with over 30-years experience between them. They saw a gap in the market after reading a school readiness survey and forged ahead with creating amazing resources aimed at parents of pre-school age children and nursery settings.

Their initial 3-page Wix website was packed with a disjointed selection of images, no clear tone of voice and plain, unbranded PDFs that were readily available to download, packed full of their hard work and expertise.

They now have a clear brand with a defined character, and a bustling members website with structured digital parenting courses optimised for mobile and dedicated parents and educators areas. They are uploading new content themselves monthly, informed by the data and analytics they are collecting directly from their members from the backend and feedback points across the site.
